Anointing of the Sick

Are any among you suffering? They should pray. Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise. Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord.

- James 5:13-14

Are you or is someone you know sick and in need of this sacrament? Please contact your parish and we will respond as quickly as possible. The Anointing of the Sick can be offered at church, in homes, hospitals, or wherever there is need.

A person does not need to be in the last moments of their life to receive this sacrament. Please receive this sacrament if you are:

1. About to have surgery or a serious medical procedure.
2. Facing a terminal or long-term illness, including depression and other mental illness.
3. Experiencing health issues related to old age.
