Becoming Catholic

Step 1: Learn About Catholicism

One of the best ways you can learn about the Catholic Faith is to visit our Parish and let us know that you are interested in learning more about the Faith. We welcome all types of searches, explorers, and believers.

Step 2: Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

If you decide you want to become Catholic, we will guide you through a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). In RCIA, you will learn about the teachings of Jesus Christ and how to put his teachings into practice by living as part of the Catholic Church, serving others, and by praying to God.

Step 3: The Sacraments of Christian

If you have not been baptized, the RCIA process will culminate with you receive the three Sacraments of Christian Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Communion, at the Easter Vigil.

If you have been baptized in another Christian tradition, you will proclaim your faith in the Catholic Church and receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and Communion.

How Do I Get Started?

Whether you can't wait to jump into the baptismal pool or you just want to ask questions, observe, and explore, we would love to meet you and help any way we can. Please contact your local parish.
